April 2017

Jane (Director) is going to an Evergreen conference (library catalog open-source system) in Covington, Kentucky and decided to see what  to do in a neighbor state in April.  (I’ll be a month too early for the Kentucky Derby).    There is  a Meadow’s in the Bloom event going on at My Old Kentucky Home State Park.  Other gardens that might be worth a look — Kingwood Center in Mansfield, Schnormeier Gardens or Stan Hywet in Akron.

We can accept household batteries for recycling again!  We have another source who can take them.  Just drop them off any time.

In addition to the Easter egg hunt in the Village at Newman Park on April 15th at 1:00, there is an Easter egg hunt in Kilbourne at the United Methodist Church on April 8th at 10:00.
abc6onyourside has a list of other Easter egg hunts in the Central Ohio area.
